Starting Units in Age of Wonders 3

In Age of Wonders 3, the Physical Form section allows players to customize their race's Body and Mind Traits. Although these traits were added in separate expansions (Eternal Lords and Golden Realms), we can expect more customization options when Age of Wonders 4's upcoming expansions are released.

One notable aspect is that some races are missing from Age of Wonders III, including the Draconians, Frostlings, and Tigrans. Fortunately, these cosmetic choices do not affect gameplay and are purely a matter of personal preference. There are a total of 10 customization options for faction physicality, allowing players to tailor their units' appearance.

It's essential to remember that these customization options apply only to units, not the main character, unless playing as the Wizard King origin. When selecting a faction's physical form, players will be presented with various unit options, cultures, and unlockable content. This system is one of the most impressive features in Age of Wonders 4.
